Some said teachers' main role is to transmit the information. Nowadays students are exposed to many kinds of information, so the role of the teacher will not work in modern life education. Do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

题目大意

一些人认为老师的主要角色是传输信息。现在学生直面各种各样的信息，所以老师在当今时代将没有作用。你同意还是不同意。

思路解析

这是一道观点类大作文，观点类的题目一般都会由提、“因”和“果”（结论）构成。因此在赞不赞同的时候，我们先看前提和结论有没有问题，再看因果两者之间是否构成逻辑关系。

这道题目的观点我们是反对的。问题点有两个，一是前提错误，二是因果不构成逻辑关系。

Despite the fact that the world is undergoing various changes, education remains one of the most heatedly discussed issues, especially with the advent of Internet. Moreover, there even exist some people who argue that teachers may actually be useless in the future because some people believe that the only role of teachers is to instill knowledge but students are in the exposure of abundant information through the Internet since childhood. Personally, I believe that teachers are irreplaceable.

First of all, those who support this idea don't really know what a teacher means. In fact, the functions of teachers are diversified. For example, compared with online learning, the exchanges of emotions and feelings between students and teachers can be realized efficiently through face-to-face communication. In fact, apart from imparting knowledge, it is also the responsibility of the teachers to encourage and inspire students by sharing their own life experience. Therefore, not only can teachers play the role of knowledge base, but they can also serve as role models who guide students throughout their lives.

Moreover, during autonomous learning, the teachers' role should not be ignored. Currently, although people have entered an era of information explosion, it is interesting to notice that the knowledge level of general people has not been qualitatively enhanced, and the reason behind is quite simple. In fact, in the face of such a large amount of information, people do not know how to effectively select the appropriate information, let alone reorganize it into a knowledge system or a framework of curriculum. Worse still, some students are misled by the untruthfulness and even deception of network information due to lack of experience. Therefore, the role of teachers becomes particularly crucial as they can give students correct guidance according to the curriculum system and authoritative teaching materials developed by experts, so that students can make enormous progress in a short time.

To sum up, in spite of the huge amount of information available on the Internet, I am still convinced of the indispensable role of human teachers mainly because of the the emotional exchanges and necessary guidance which are made possible by talking and training face-to-face.
