Task 1
Do you think it is a good idea for parents to give kids money if they have good grades in school
Do you agree or disagree with the statement that students should be rewarded if they perform well at school
In my opinion, giving children monetary reward because of their good academic performance in school is not reasonable. For one thing, children might therefore lose the opportunity to become independent learners. Being motivated by the external stimuli like money, gradually, a child may expect to obtain extra reward from learning. However if one day no such rewards could be expected, the child might feel reluctant to continue his study. Further, if the child get used to receiving immediate reward in learning, when he encounter difficulties in his study, a relatively long period of time without any positive feedback, it will be difficult for him to learn consistently.
Task 2
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: it is never too late to get a degree in university
I agree that it would never be late to obtain a university degree. Because firstly, studying in a university and obtaining a bachelor degree means a lot. For adults who unfortunately missed the university education, receiving higher education provides them an opportunity to further develop their career and improve his working performance. For elders, they can still contribute to the society by combining their abundant life experiences with the up-to-date knowledge gained in university. Therefore, the benefit brought by studying in universities is irrelevant to the age. I think anyone who wanna study and be a lifelong learner could be welcomed by universities
Task 3
Task 4
Distinctive bias:
Task 5
Task 6
Sub-topic 1:active
Sub-topic2:passive的方式
