SSAT听力考试：如何判断否定句式的表达方式？

　　1) 带否定词not：isn't，don't，can't，couldn't，won't

　　例：－I won't bother with Moris.(c4t1s3)

　　-I'm not so sure about the written work(c5t3s3)

　　2) 带否定前缀的词表达否定的含义

　　im (impossible)，in (informal)，dis (disagree)，un (unnecessary)，il (illegal)，ir (irrelevant)

　　mis(misunderstand)，non(nonsense)，anti( anti-war) counter（counterclockwise) ab( abnormal)等。

　　3) 带有否定后缀的词表达否定含义

　　less (harmless)

　　free (salt-free)

　　proof (waterproof)

　　4) 表达否定含义的副词、形容词

　　no，no longer，nothing，neither，none，hardly，scarcely，barely，little，few，seldom等

　　5）表达否定含义的实意动词

　　avoid，ban，calloff，cancel，deny，deprive，exclude，escape，forbid，fail，hate，ignore，

　　lack，lose，miss， neglect， stop，refuse等

　　6）表达否定的句型

　　not all...（或：all...not）并非都…

　　例：Not all bamboo grows tall.

　　not...both (或：both... not) 并非两个…都…

　　例：I don't want both the books.

　　all the time 的否定式：“并非一直……”　例：A foolish man doesn't make a mistake all the time.

　　entirely，altogether，completely 和quite 的否定式：“不完全……”，“并非完全……”

　　例： He felt not altogether satisfied.? I don't agree completely.
