关于PTE阅读中的单选多选技巧

　　很多由雅思转考PTE的考生都是奔着考PTE能更快拿到自己想要的留学移民语言分数来的，PTE相对好考、题库范围小、更具技巧性、有套路可循等特点，也使得其平均备考周期远远短于雅思。

　　在做PTE阅读单选，多选和排列句子的题型时，需要格外注意英文中的逻辑结构，和中文是有本质区别的，要善于分辨topic sentence和main arguments，注意文章的行文结构，PTE常考的逻辑关系中，以因果关系，并列递进，解释这三种逻辑类型为主，分清主次，学会从作者的视角思考文章安排的原因，重视逻辑连接词，尤其是表转折的词汇，都会大幅提高阅读速度和正确率。

　　对于阅读部分的选择题，因为整体做题时间有限，因此无论是单选还是多选题的做题速度要严格控制时间，平均时长以不超过1.5分钟每道题为主，做题的技巧先看问题，再看答案，最后看文章。

　　无论是单选题或是多选题，基本上可以划分为两类，一类是找主旨观点，比如main idea, purpose, correct/wrong argument, best summary或者 best prediction等，一类是细节问题通常有对某一特殊意群的针对性提问。

　　对于主旨观点类问题

　　要明确问题的方向，如果是main idea or main argument类型，主要以确定文章中的topic和general idea为主。而summarize 类型的文章要注意文章整体，所以要格外注意阅读首尾句，明确文章中逻辑结构如转折，对比或者并列等是否有在选项中提及。而对于predictions类型的题目，要注意文章中未太多描述的部分，合理进行预测，结合选项的合理推测。

　　另外在阅读文章中，一些比较关键的内容是我们快速找到答案的关键：

　　1. Transition words: 文章中出现转折词或转折关系时往往是答案的高频出处，比如however, but, in fact, that is to say等等

　　2. Repeated content words：重复出现的关键词意群，通常对于细节题来讲是迅速把握正确答案的部分。

　　3. Summarized language：表总结性的语言或句式，这样的句式后面通常会接观点句，main idea 或main purpose类型的题目要特别注意这些句式。

　　对于细节类问题

　　同学们除了要找到关键词以及文章中paraphrase的关键信息之外，要对问题中针对location和time的时间地点状语格外注意，进一步限定的成分也可以让大家迅速在文中定位答案。

　　People tend to think that any new technology or device is an act of genius;something that has required vision and insight to create and then develop into a marketable product. The fact is that innovations were often already 'out there' in the public domain in some form or another.
