雅思阅读攻克之结尾配对题

　　雅思阅读中的句子结尾匹配题选项很多，耗时较长，一些考生难以在短时间内保证做题的正确率。今天课窝考试网小编就和大家说说此类题型的解题技巧！

　　一、关于MatchingSentence Endings的基本知识

　　在句子结尾匹配题中，考生需要从多个可能的句子结尾的选项中，根据文章内容，选择最合适的结尾。In this IELTS reading question, you will be givena list of incomplete sentences with no endingsandanother list with possible endings.Your jobis to match the incomplete sentences with the correct ending based on thereading text.

　　这类题并不常见，但要保证见到了不能丢分~This isNOTone the morecommonquestions but should be studied all the same.

　　这类题考察的是考生提炼文章主要思路并理解行文逻辑的能力~Youare being tested on your understanding ofhow the ideas in the sentences are connected to the main ideasin the readingtext.

　　通常情况下，会有5-6个句子待填，8-9个选项供考生选择~In the exam, there are normally5-6 incomplete sentencesand8-9 optional endings.

　　二、常见问题CommonProblems

　　很多考生仅仅依据结尾填进句子后的语感，而忽视这些句子和文章内容的联系，这样的做题方式极容易丢分~Lots of people think that they can answer these questionsby using logic and grammarand they don’t look atthe reading text. They think this will save them time and they can work out the answer quickly just by looking at the answers and matching the sentences thatmake the most sense.

　　Don’t do this.因为这类题是在考生对文章的理解，而不仅仅是语法/语感测试~It is a test of your understanding ofthe reading textmore than a test of how sentences generally gotogether. The examiner will try and trick you by connecting ideas in thereading text to endings that are not the correct answer.根据句子已知的部分进行预测，然后在选项中找最合适的~Remember that you arematching incomplete sentences to endings, not endings to the text.

　　通过关键词可以缩短定位时间，但是并不能迅速挑出正确选项~Many people look for theexact wordscontained in the question in the reading text. The examiners will probably usesynonyms and paraphrasinginstead of exactly the same words. Don’t waste your time looking for words that exactly match with thetext, instead look for synonyms and paraphrases. 一般来说，选项会用“同义词和同义替换”，而非照搬文章中的关键词~

　　三、解题策略Strategy

　　考生一定要根据自己的英语水平和做题习惯加以调整，切忌完全照搬~This is my suggested strategy. There are many different strategiesand you should use the one you feel comfortable with. You can alsoadapt this strategy to what suits you.

　　1.认真审题Readthe question carefully.

　　2.理解题目不完整的句子想要表达什么，留意“名字、地点、时间”等关键词Read the incomplete sentences first and don’t look at the endingsyet. Try to understand what they mean and highlight any keywords especiallynames, places or dates.

　　3.先预测答案，再看选项，注意填进去之后句子的语法是否正确Predict what the endings might be before looking at them. Think about what word type (verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs) makes the sentence grammatically correct.

　　4.扫读选项，确定的先填上，其他不太确定地再放慢速度看一遍Look at the endings but not in too much detail. Try to see if there are any obvious answers.

　　5.留意语法、搭配、和句意，排除无关选项Eliminate endings that definitely cannot match. Think about grammar,collocations, and meaning.

　　6.缩小范围不失为一个好方法Match the endings you think might be correct. Write two or threeoptions if necessary.

　　7.留意同义词和同义替换Findthe correct part of the reading text for each incomplete sentence. Be carefulwith synonyms and paraphrases.

　　8.回文章中定位不可少Understand the meaning of that part of the text and choose the correct answer.

　　四、A Tip

　　Matching Sentence Endings这类题是“顺序”出题，比较方便考生们定位~The answers are in the same order in the text as they are in the questions, so the answer to question 2 will be after the answer to question 1 and so on. Locate question one first and thenyou know where to begin.
