　　1.What’s your favorite colour?

　　你最喜欢的颜色是?

　　参考答案：White:I love the colour white because it’s so clean and pure. When I wear white, I feel very peaceful at heart. But I have to pay attention because it gets dirty so easily. I think a white Tee Shirt and blue jeans are the best combination.

　　Black:I think black is very mysterious and sophisticated. For a girl, it looks very sexy. And when you wear black you look thinner, because the colour is very slimming.

　　Blue:It’s the colour of the sea and the sky. It’s also the colour of jeans. So I guess in a sense, it’s a young and free colour.

　　Red:Red is the hottest and most enthusiastic colour you can ever imagine. And it’s the colour of China.

　　Green:The colour green reminds me of the nature and the environment. It’s the colour of Spring when all lives come back around us. So wearing this colour, I feel very close to nature.

　　2.Do you like the same color now as you did when you were younger?

　　小时候和大了，你喜欢同样的颜色么?

　　参考答案： if the Same:Well, yeah.I’m a kind of person that likes something and doesn’t change. And I think the colors of black and white are the most classic. I’m a simple guy, so I like simple colors.

　　if Changed:I guess it changed. When I was young, I was childish, so I like bright colors, such as light yellow and shiny red. But now, I’m a 20 years old young man, I’m more mature, and so I like more understated colors, such as dark blue or deep green.

　　3.What can you learn about a person from the color they like?

　　从一个人对颜色的偏好可以了解这个人的什么?

　　参考答案：I believe you cannot truly learn anything from a person’s colour preference because each person is individual and to label someone with certain characteristic based upon a colour would be short sightedand an unhelpful generalisation.

　　4.Do any colours have special meanings in your culture?

　　在中国文化中，颜色有特殊的含义么?

　　参考答案：think the colours of red and yellow represent our home country, China, because they’re the main colours of the national flag. The colour red also means happy occasions, such as wedding. I know that the colour white means wedding in the west. Yet, the it means death in China. Surprising, huh?
