在备考GRE考试词汇的过程中,很多同学发现,相似的单词不少,有些甚至是不仔细看就难以分辨。对于这些单词,如果不认真对待,仔细区分,在考试中很有可能造成考生无法正确理解或使用的结果。今天课窝小编整理了一些关于GRE考试中不好分辨的词。
1. impudent / imprudent
impudent: very rude
imprudent: not wise or sensible: not prudent
2. insolent / indolent / redolent
insolent: rude or impolite
indolent: not liking to work or be active

witty: funny and clever

feckless: weak and ineffective; worthless;irresponsible

forbear: to avoid doing or saying (something)
