　　去做 VS 做过

　　在一些动词后，如remember，搭配不定式todo表示记住将要做某件事，而搭配动名词doing表示记住曾做过某事。

　　Remember to do sth.记住要做某事

　　Remember doing sth.记住曾做过某事

　　例句：

　　Remember to turn off the gas cooker.要记得把煤气炉关掉。

　　Iremembered turning off the gas cooker.我记得我关了煤气炉。

　　除了remember以外，此类的常见词组还有以下两个：

　　Forget todosth. 忘记要做某事

　　Forget doing sth. 忘记曾做过某事

　　例句：

　　Donot forget to post the letter.不要忘记去寄信。

　　Iforget doing homework this morning.我忘记早上做过作业了。

　　Regret to do sth. 后悔（遗憾）要做某事

　　另一件事 VS 同一件事

　　在表示“继续”或“停止”含义的动词中，后面搭配to do一般指继续或停止做另一件事，而后面搭配doing则指继续或停止一直在做的这件事。

　　Go on to do sth.做完某事后接着做另一事

　　Go on doing sth.继续做一直在做的事

　　例句：

　　Go on to do the other exercise after you finish this one.做完这个练习题后，接着做另一个题。

　　He wanted to go on doing chemistry all his life. 他愿继续一辈子从事化学工作。

　　Stop to do sth. 停下来去做某事

　　Stop doing sth. 停止正在做的事

　　例句：

　　Westoppedtoeat. 我们停下（某事）去吃饭。

　　We stopped eating.我们停止吃饭。

　　意思不同

　　还有些动词，在搭配to do和doing时表示的意思完全不同。如：
