AEIS写作高分讲解：举例论证

在AEIS写作中，考生们往往会有一个疑问，那就是例子该怎么写，怎么样才能让一篇文章看起来很饱满，而不是只有干巴巴的理论依据，像车轱辘一样来回倒腾。今天，我们就来解决这个困扰考生已久的问题。

为什么要举例子呢？

在写作评分标准中，5分评分标准有一项是：“The essay is well organized and well-developed,using clearly appropriate explanations, exemplifications and/ or details.”

该句中的exemplifications就是例证，由此说明，如果大家想要在写作中获得高分，必须使用举例论证。

举例论证放在哪儿呢？

例子的作用是对一个观点的具体细节展开。这意味着在写作中，大家需要先写出一组观点，而后才能给出例子对观点进行细节描述。

如何进行举例论证呢？

一个完整的举例论证包含三个要素：举例引导句，例子本身，例子含义总结。

举例引导句的作用是signposting，提示读者“我要开始举例子啦！”。常用的举例引导句句型如：”XXX can aptly illustrate the point”，“XXX is an excellent example”。或者，直接用”for example”，虽然普通，但也达到了引出例子的目的。

例子本身就是举例的主体部分。例子可以分为三种，一是名人事例，二是个人事例，三是研究成果。需要指出的是，许多学生总觉得举例论证时一定要举出充满新意的例子才能赚取高分。这是一个误区。

例子含义总结的作用是阐明例子与论点的联系，强化论点。学生常用的例子含义总结句型如：

“As the example shows,…”

“Theexamplehighlights that…”

写作的题目是People are easier to become successful now than in the past.

主体论证段部分片段：

The flourishing internet business offers people diverse channels or platforms where they can bring their talents into spotlight, gaining fame and fortune consequently.

The video website,YouTube, is an excellent example.

此句为举例引导句，告知读者此处开始举例并说明例子是围绕哪个人物或事件展开

Many talented artists, singers and musicians in particular, post their workson YouTube, attracting attention from a small group of people initially and then becoming famous nationwide. A guitarist named Julie once posted a series of guitar lessons on YouTube, teaching subscribers the techniques to play the guitar.

Heradeptnessin guitar playing soon earns her many commercial performances. She was even invited to perform on the hit TV showAmerica’s Got Talent.

以上为例子本身，对语言能力较好的同学而言，可以将例子本身再分为两个部分：总体概述(即例子中many artists部分)与单例描述（即例子中a guitarist named Julie部分）
