在AEIS英语写作中文章打算分几段写，每段大概怎样写，自数控制在多少，开头段落是道破主题，点名要旨，引人入胜还是先给出主题一般的背景情况和对主题进行浓缩的陈述呢，中间段落和结尾有怎样写呢。这些都要心中有数。

写作话题：

The key to solving environmental problems is simple: present generations must have a less comfortable life for the sake of future generations.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

学生写作：

Additionally, only a few those activities in daily life may cause damage to the environment, and as long as people can change those behavior, there will be less pollutionand the quality of currentgeneration’s life will hardly decrease.

老师修改：

In addition, those actions/acts in daily life that may cause damage to the environmentare so little that the change of them will hardly reduce the quality of life.

在修饰一整个句子的时候，书面表达的习惯通常是 in addition，而不是 additionally。用介词短语替代副词，类似的有 in general而不是generally。

原句中的 only a few 是表意重点，但是这个重点在原句中不够凸显，所以句型换作 so … that …来凸显， so little that blah blah blah 可以凸显出little这个程度以及little带来的结果。

原句是两个分句的简单复合，修改后依托 so … that … 句型，让句子更紧凑。

同时，原句中的一些赘述被抛弃。

学生写作：

Contemporary people, to preserve our environment for the next generation, have to abandon their comfortable lifestyle. I would disagree with this opinion, because coping with environmental pollution does not necessarily meanthat the present generation must sacrifice their life.

老师修改：

It is argued that people, to preserve our environment for the next generation, have to abandon their comfortable lifestyle. I disagree with this opinion, because solving environmentalproblems, typicallypollution,does not necessarily meanthat the present generation must reduce their lifequality.

首先，原来的第一句，是在表明本文作者的观点，而不是陈述别人的观点。但是，第二句又说到“不同意”这个观点，于是，两句冲突了。于是第一句需要加上 It is argued …来说明这是别人的观点。

contemporary 这个词很多余。

表明自己“不同意”的时候，不需要would。因为作者就是“不同意”，而不是“（如果怎么样的话就会）不同意”。would这个情态动词暗示了（如果怎么样的话就会），这个暗示并不成立，因为难道是“如果有别人有某种想法，作者就会不同意”么？显然不是，因为别人就是已经有题目中所说的想法，而不是如果有。

cope with 的意思是“应付/对付/应对/处理”，但是都不是“解决（掉，于是问题就没有了）”。

sacrifice 这个词的意思重了。“牺牲生活”感觉很可悲，应该不至于那么严重，而是“降低生活质量”，这个程度正常些。
