ACT阅读：细节定位题太棘手？几个技巧要掌握

　　在ACT阅读中，中国学生感觉比较棘手的有这么一类题：细节定位题。在官方指南当中明确表明，ACT阅读考察的重点之一就是Supporting Details，所谓supporting details指的就是支持性的细节，ACT阅读对于细节的考核十分琐碎，一是没有line提示原文位置，二是题目都是乱序出题，出题顺序并非和文章段落顺序一致。但是再难，课窝考试网都能为大家带来技巧：

　　1、Read the passage first.先通读文章

　　了解文章的写作目的、主旨是解答这些文章细节题不可或缺的方法。如采取先读题的策略，题干中的选项答案可能会在你读取文章时误导你。

　　2、Look for context.寻找上下文

　　有些细节题是给到具体行号的，这类题建议在文章阅读前就在文章对应的行号做出相应的标记。而未给出行号的细节题，请记住根据题干中的关键词在文章中进行索引定位，比如某个专有名词，某个单词的首字母大写都可以成为帮助你快速在文章扫描定位关键词。一旦找到对应的出处，你需要阅读对应行号前与后中1-2句的文章内容。答案往往隐藏在这几个句子中。

　　3.Don’t fall for irrelevant answers.不要轻易选择毫不相干的答案

　　不要轻易选择答非所问的答案。出题者了解你对自己阅读的不自信，也知道大部分的人的人性中会首先否定自己，倾向选择那些未曾看到过的细节（以为自己速度过快而忽略了）。所以他们时常会在问题设计中会诱惑你去选择那些貌似你认为被错过的细节，不要落入这个陷阱。

　　4.Use process of elimination.排除法

　　通常细节类题型是比较难的题。排除法会确保你缩小你的答案选择范围，消除不正确的选项。这种策略会增加你得到正确答案的可能性。

　　5.Skipdifficult questions.跳过难题

　　如初看题干后第一反应几个选项中无法判定，请毫不犹豫地跳过这题，在你有时间时候再回来做。因为你的阅读得分将基于最终你总的答对正确的题数，而非某些难题。所以时间管理很重要，与其纠结耗时在一个难以判断的细节问题，浪费过多的时间在重复阅读中，可能会降低你总体的阅读分数。

　　现在我们用以上的这些技巧来看以下这个样题：

　　My artisticstyle comes from my connection to the land. Even in the city, where rows of newbuildings replace the rows of a newly plowed field, I am a farmer. Paints arethe seeds I plant, and completed canvasses are my harvest.

　　I’ve often had to endure the surprise that city folk feel when theyfirst see my paintings. Many of them haven’t imagined that my people could takesuch joy in a simple meal, sitting in a low-lit room and eating potatoes andsoup and bread. At first, I thought that they pitied the people I painted, butwhen I talked to them, they would tell me how much they wanted to sit withtheir families and know what it was like to be united by a common goal. Ipainted scenes of fathers and mothers digging together, babies slung on backsand children trailing behind. It was my job to show the city folk that this wasanother way to live.

　　As stated in the passage, many of thecity folk who viewed the author’s paintings reacted by:

　　A. telling the author that they were surprised and confused by his work.

　　B. saying that they also wondered what it would be like to be united by acommon goal.

　　C. looking at them carefully but walking away as if they did notunderstand.

　　D. telling him they thought that the subject matter was lonely and filthy.

　　哪个答案是正确的？如果你选择B，恭喜你选对了。答案B对应的文章出处来自“The author states that when the cityfolk talked to him, they would tell him “how much they wanted to sit with theirfamilies and know what it was like to be united by a common goal.” B选择中的united by a common goal给了你提示（ACT有时候会对细节题进行改写，有时候又是原文关键词的照抄，这里就是照抄）。我们再下其它选项是为何是错误的。A不正确是因为后半部分错了。原文表述的意思显示人们对绘画的主题可以理解和确定，所以A中的confused文章中没有论及过。C不正确也是后半部分也表达出confuse观众的意思，但文中正好相反。D选项文章中从无提及我的油画表现的特征是“lonely and filthy,”明显是杜撰的，所以D也错的。
